DC Chapter of Prisoner Express

Sriya volunteered with Prisoner Express while she was a student at Cornell University. The experience was transformative. Upon moving to the DC area, she decided to start a chapter there, where she now hosts events with Arlington Public Library every month.

Get involved!

Live in the DC area and want to volunteer? Here's how:

Monthly Volunteer Drop-In

Courthouse Library

2100 Clarendon Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201

First Saturday of every month

3-4pm

No experience needed! We will provide all the materials and train you on the spot. Laptops/phones are encouraged to open the website and browse through the archives, but there will be printed physical copies of some art, poetry, essays, and journal entries to look at and respond to.
