Treacy Ziegler is the coordinator of the Prisoner Express Arts program – and it’s a great honor that we share her blog here on www.prisonerexpress.org
For the past 25 years I have been an artist working in painting, printmaking and, most recently, sculpture. For most of this time I have been an exhibiting artist in various galleries.
However, seven years ago I began seeking a different audience. Finding that audience in prisons, I began a project to both share my artwork with prisoners and to teach in prisons. My art website is www.treacyziegler.com. The website for the prison work is www.prisonerexpress.org
