I’m 21 with a 1 year sentence, however, I’m halfway done.
I guess I’ll start my first journal off with a message. Hopefully you can understand and keep up with my hand writing.
My grandmother is one of the beautiful queens in my life and I cherish her with my utmost love. I use to do things a normal teenage boy would do and get in trouble. See she always told me “boy if you don’t stop what you doing and take heed to what I’m telling you, you’re going to end up in someone’s grave yard or someone’s jail cell.”
This was in the years of 2005 to 2006 and maybe a year earlier. I use to say man you gone put a curse on me and brush it off. In the year of 2007, three months before I turned 17 I got locked up for 2 cases in the same day at the same time. (Aggravated robbery and an aggravated assault charge with a little twist. No need to speak on it so you can judge me before you get to know me.) A little while after I got locked up I realized that this is my wake up call. See my mother had an alarm clock that never woke her up but always woke me up. I would get up, go and push the snooze button, and lay back down. I did this constantly and I now see that my grandmother was my alarm clock from God. He used her to get to me but I didn’t wake up until it was too late. My whole reason for writing on this particular topic is because, I know how ti is to miss your opportunity. I missed multiple opportunities. To all of the young adults and teenagers and of age adults. The only time its too late is when your dead. If you still have the chance to fix whatever mistake you’ve made or to patch up things with a loved one, take the time to make it right before we never wake up to see the next day or night. So stop and meditate on everything you do or go through in life, you don’t want to leave this earth with regrets and guilt and trust me. You Don’t want to Live with them on EARTH Either. It’s painful.
